Masschusetts Home Inspectors
- To renew your Home Inspector License in the state of Massachusetts, you are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- Home Inspector Licenses expire every 24 months. Continuing education must be completed prior to expiration. Only continuing education hours completed during the 24 months prior to renewal shall be acceptable as qualifying continuing education activities for the renewal cycle.
- Continuing education subjects must directly relate to the practice of home inspecting or home construction and the educational objectives shall exceed a basic level of knowledge as it relates to the inspections of homes.
- Home Inspectors must maintain a record of continuing education completion for a minimum of 4 years. The Board shall randomly audit for continuing education compliance.
